In October 2015, OpSpec Training held our first MOAC (Mother of all Classes) program at SIG SAUER Academy in New Hampshire, and it was a big success. A significant number of potential students asked us to hold our next class in the southwest or west coast, and we're excited to let you know we'll be holding our next MOAC program in Mesa, Arizona. We realize this is a New England forum, but we had about four students visit New Hampshire from the west coast during our Oct. 2015 class, and figured maybe some of you would be interested in traveling to Arizona to enjoy the sun in December.

The class will be limited to a maximum of 16 students, shot all on steel, with an approximate 4,000 round count.

Prior to the start of class, students should have completed OpSpec Training’s Practical Fundamentals class or have attended an equivalent trigger control-based program from another training organization within the past 36 months. If you have the training experience, solid gun-handling skills, and can draw from the holster and reliably hit an 8-inch target from 5 yards in under 1.5 seconds you meet the prerequisites for this advanced program.

We're announcing this class 10 months in advance, so you've got plenty of time to prepare, plus we've set up an optional payment plan schedule.

MOAC
MOAC is a five-day, 40 hour, high round count pistol course designed to take the intermediate shooter and provide them with the tools to become an advanced or expert shooter. OpSpec Training alumni frequently request a long-duration program – building upon our flagship two-day Practical Fundamentals program – designed to enforce and develop persistent, durable skills. MOAC develops these skills through repetition and process oriented marksmanship.

Read everything you need to know about MOAC right here, and the details and information about the class in Mesa is posted here and we will update as we have more information. Interested in class testimonials from students? We also have them posted here, and many students will share their experiences with you if you ask. They will not share details about drills with you, but they will provide you with general info.

Student Testimonials
As of June 2016, about two of three OpSpec Training survey respondents said their course outright EXCEEDED expectations.

Important Links and Information

Along with reviewing our What to Bring page, note you'll also need at least six magazines, four magazine carriers and 50 dummy rounds. We suggest the Saf-T-Trainers from Brownells. Understand some of the dummy rounds will break during training.

We have not set it up yet, but in the past we have suggested Country Inn & Suites by Carlson in Mesa. More details to follow.

This class is now about half-full with eight or nine students enrolled and deposits in. We even have four students traveling to Arizona from the east coast for this class. If you have any questions, let us know!

This class is a definite GO and there is still space available. We have a few people flying to Arizona from the east coast including New England and Florida.
