A friend of my girlfriends asked me about open carrying a .22 rifle while on a week long hiking trip in MA. Is this going to pose a problem for him? I can,t find the right mgl to cite as a yes or no. Any help would be appreciated.

One may only carry a uncased long arm in a public space, while lawfully engaged in hunting.

LTC-A does not let you walk along Main Street with your 10/22, Mosin or AR slung.

Feinstein says it's legal to hunt humans with a 150 round magazine, so you should be good to go.....even on Main Street.
