Once fired brass

Looking for a local (central Mass) source for 1x fired .308 brass, preferably LC. Finding .223 is easy, but I'm having a tough time with .308. Any suggestions?

Government auctions? I know there are barrels of .308 offered from time to time. There was an auction at the New London Sub Base not too long ago. (I think it was discussed in this forum, IIRC.)

The gov auctions tend to be high volume (700lbs plus) and, to me, high cost. Do not expect a bargain and most of what you will get will be shot out of a MG. Other reloading and casting boards have people who sell brass all the time. Take a look around and buy 1k from a person there IMO.

If he has a lot of this stuff in 762 Nato m118 special ball. Very high chance it was shot out of a rifle and not machine gun.....I purchased a bu ch of surplus brass. It was later found to be from mini gun.....it did not resize well.

i can get a hold of plenty of federal GMM once fired brass.
i think it was .18/round
