Saw one of these up in the classifieds by shooting supply I thought 7.62's need a 45 degree magwell to accept the banana clips

I think that ad was mislabeled, probably should say 7.62 NATO. The magwell didnt look like it would accept ak mags.

Looks like the mag well is too small for 7.62 NATO.

Am I wrong tho? Didn't whatever company made it first tried that and that's what they did to fix the feeding issues right
