The Sept. issue of American Rifleman arrived yesterday with a story about a new exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston that includes Old West artifacts and rare firearms from the collection of William I. Koch.
Included:

Bat Masterson's factory engraved and inscribed Colt SAA.

The Smith & Wesson Model 3 revolver used by Bob Ford to kill Jesse James.

A pair of engraved gold plated and inscribed Colt Officer's Model revolvers that belonged to Tom Mix.

Sounds like a winner.

I saw that as I was skimming thought that. I always skim before I read everything. I don't know why I do that, but is William I. Koch the guy that does all the Yhacting down in Newport?

Yes. He won the America's Cup in 1992.
