Official 1911 Pic Thread...

Two of my favorite 1911’s
One is half Colt half Safari arms
The other one is a Detonics Combat Master. Low serial number to boot

The S&W is a JMB series Performance Center built in 2003/4 when PC meant hand built/fitted. I guess the PC series went production around 2012. Rumor has it that it was partially assembled with WC parts (as evident by the rear sight) so I added a pair of their starburst grips.

This looks like it saw a couple of wars. S/N is from early in 1918.
Then it looks like it was sent back to the arsenal a couple of times.
The trigger, thumb and grip safety are WWII era.
The Colt slide is one of the government slides used in the 50s after they came back for repair.

If anyone has the grip and thumb safety from 1917/1918 please let me know. I'd like to replace those if possible.
Less likely, but if you have an original slide that would be great too.

I may keep the re-arsenaled trigger since they are shorter and I have little tiny hands.
