odd m1 carbine trigger

So i finally got to taken down my m1 carbine IBM i got two years ago. She was dirty so i threw her in the ultrasonic cleaner for a bit but when it came out it looked like this. Note the copper color in the pics. Is that normal. Ive never seen that before.

It's a brazed receiver. They aren't uncommon. I have one myself.

Hi:
As written above, you have one of the Brazed trigger housings made by IBM during the"" Big War"". I have a couple of them and was as surprised as you when I first noticed the difference.
P.S. I have 11 carbines, one of each manufacturer, Not a collector, Just like M1 Carbines.
