    Too cool.
That is a URL I would have liked to register, had I thought of it. The value is already more than the $12 they probably paid for it.

yeah, he's right about it being a "great marketing piece" by the left. But he did NOT dispute the facts.
1- PACs can (and do) spend Billions of dollars supporting candidates. Candidates and PACs are not supposed to coordinate but that wasn't mentioned.
2- Nothing keeps congress critters from "writing", sponsoring, influencing or voting on laws that will assist the PACs that spent billions getting them elected.
3- Congress critters CAN buy stock in any company and CAN NOT be charged with "insider trading." They passed a law in 2012 that they had to disclose online their transactions and that slowed them down for a bit but only until they changed the law so they don't have to disclose it online any longer.
4- the area where I said she was "wrong" was her stating that one can use campaign money to pay off people who might smear your reputation. that would be a campaign finance violation. she obviously was inferring that Trump had done this. yes, he paid off women but presumably he used his own money which is legal.

Do you really think it's smart to allow corporations to have such an influence in politics? both in who gets elected and what laws are passed? Just think of the billions Bloomberg has spent around the country against gun rights. why should he be able to do that? why should Monsanto be allowed to get laws passed that protect it's product so much that even when it's products float through the air, end up on someone else's property, Monsanto can sue the property owner for using their products without license?

Based on your application, your new, very important profession under the Green New Deal will be and your new salary will be $94,787/yr.

Dammit. I didn't think I'd be less equal. I guess I'm going to be unwilling to work for you or something.

So, as you see above, I posted it on FB. A friend from grade school who says he's a Libertarian(his mother was VERY liberal, very sweet caring woman, very far left though) decided to chime in

I have nothing to disagree with there. I’m all for the smallest government possible. I agree lobbying should be curtailed to the uttermost and every gutter practice by all polits, especially Congress.

Basically that video was her interview. She's been in Congress for how many weeks and she doesn't have her corporate sponsor yet. She was laying out all of the things in a years time she will be doing herself.

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
    By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "If you don't work you die."

Your buddy doesn't grasp the most basic rules of economics:
    1. Tax something, you get less of it.
    2. Subsidize something, you get more of it.

It is immoral, evil even, to tax a man so another man can be idle. The end point of this kind of thinking is always the same.

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

paying someone not to work is NOT a libertarian ideal. no way, no how.
having a "police force" on .gov payroll is NOT a libertarian ideal. private policing, yes.
putting someone in jail for theft or property damage is not a libertarian ideal. libertarians support restitution.

I filled in zero information at the Green New Deal site and they calculated my new 'unwilling to work' income to be $191K after I hit 'submit'. My new career was blank too.

I put in 1 dollar as my current salary, and apparently that qualifies me to earn $164K and a title of Social Justice Pontificator

I got my work permit when I was 15 and have worked ever since. I have a work ethic that I inherited from grandparents that had lived through two World Wars and the Great Depression. So, perhaps that makes me a dinosaur, but I believe that our fragile economy depends on two things:

1., the working man / woman getting up every morning and going to work.

2., that same working man fully believing that his "money" is actually worth something....

AO-C is not a product of the generations of Americans that built this country, literally or figuratively. She is a product of the Clinton and Obama years, and her ideas cannot work!

After zero input and simply clicking 'submit', I seemed to have received the highest salary of those who tried out that site. Therefore, the key to the highest income is making the least amount of effort. Must be a legit site, LOL.
