The police chief thanked those who helped open up traffic for the first responders.

Partiers celebrating Juneteenth in Northern California were seen blocking an ambulance, with a woman twerking atop the vehicle, despite responders trying to navigate through the scene to transport victims of a shooting in which one person was killed and several others were injured.

The Oakland Police Department believes Saturday's shooting at Lake Merritt was gang-related and multiple shooters are being sought, the department said Monday. An estimated 5,000 people were gathered near where the incident occurred in the 2200 block of Lakeshore Avenue just after 6:20 p.m., police said.

A 22-year-old San Francisco man was killed and seven people were injured, police said. The victims range in age from 16 to their mid-60s and are in stable condition, Oakland Police Chief LeRonne Armstrong told reporters Monday.

The problem isn't these people (inner city morons). The problem is our elected officials who don't go on TV immediately and denounce this.

It's like the subway system in NYC in the 70's. What happened there??? Then you get broken-window policing in the mid-80's and in a year or two, it's the crown jewel of inner city transit in the US.

But too many elected officials top to bottom feel that denouncing these people is somehow racist or something so they won't do it. And what you get eventually is Escape From New York.

These people elected those politicians, what the f*** do you mean they aren't the problem? They don't denounce it because they like it. The inner city is what sways every blue state to blue.

honestly, the elected officials are no better "kultured" and probably still smoke crack. Did you ever hear these divershitty officials speak off script? We got congress critters so dumb ... well, these are the elected officials, literally idiots, but no worries, because now not only we have idiots, our idiots are f***ing senile as well all the way to POTUS.

You guys are thinking that everyone you disagree is a cracksmoking ho. Not hte case.

Is Chuck Shumer a cracksmoking ho? Kamalamadingdong? Joltin Joe? Not really.

I don't think they WANT things this way. It is a byproduct of them saying, "well, they're wrong, but they FEEL like X so we gotta let them feel." They forget that how the dirtbag FEELS and what they are DOING are mutually exclusive.

They will not denounce behavior that THESE SAME PEOPLE WOULD HAVE DENOUNCED 15 years ago b/c the "culture" now is to not call them out b/c they are oppressed. Ergo, they allow it.

Just remember - we had teh BIGGEST drop in crime in this nation's history under the most liberal corrupt President in our recent memories. Many of you are too young to recall the Clinton years. They were great years, if you didn't have to watch him on TV.

Imagine a Democrat president denouncing violence in the inner cities and being able to separate his concern for their plight AND their action.

Imagine that.

Why would they denounce what their voters are doing exactly what they expect them to do

the bill of rights guarantees the right to do tribal dances any time, anywhere. some might call it twerking. on top of an ambulance is just as powerful as gyrating on a dusty african plain.
