Hardly a confiscation - that was a hand-over.

1) Don't even answer your door for a cop.
2) No warrant? For god sakes nothing good can come from letting him in !!!!
3) Don't store your guns such that confiscation or hand-overs go smoothly. It's not illegal to "misplace" the stuff and make them look hard for it even if they do have a warrant. It's also not illegal to lose or misplace firearms (aka, bury in backyard). If you're concerned about getting busted for filing a false report after doomsday hits, I'd say your worries are backwards.
