How long did it take you to hear anything once you signed up?
Get mail or anything else. I signed up on May 29 after my LTC class.
Who knows when the instructors turned it in.
The receipt says please allow 4-6 weeks.

If I call will they have info on my membership.
The reason I ask is because some Sportsman clubs/shooting range require a membership to the NRA.

Hahahahha. The emails alone!!!!!

I know right? How many mailing lists do they have?? No nra, I don't want to join your wine club. No nra, I don't want a dozen cheap folding knives. No matter how many I unsubscribe from, there's always a new mailing list.

Some clubs in MA. require it?! Ludicrous. I don't know which part of this annoys me most, that a club requires an organization that does jack shit for us instead of GOAL or that it thinks itself important enough to tell prospective members how to spend their money. I'm glad I live where there are better options, because that reeks of Fudd.

I know,it should be changed to being a member of GOAL is a requirement.
And trust me,I know about the phone calls from the NRA.
I just don't have time to listen to a message from Wayne regarding some laws being infringed in a state that has more freedom than I have here in the moonbat state.

not to worry you will get mail, more than you want

Took about 4 weeks for my NRA package to come. I had a free membership so I just renewed it.

Still think it would be better for clubs to require GOAL over the NRA.

Or both! ....I know the NRA gets too political and is too (whatever) at times, plus has "abandoned" Mass (Who wouldn't! Half the NESers here want to abandon this liberal hellhole too!).
But anyone who Obama hates can come to the pub and have drinks on me.

I called this morning(press #1 if you are waiting for your packet).
Packet are taking 8-10 weeks to arrive because of the increased memberships recently.

Then this afternoon I get a "Brief message from Wayne" call.
I asked about my membership and the guy restated to listen to the brief message.
So click........

I know it sounds like I'm being a jerk.
But, they have no issued bugging people to join or renew.
Maybe they should put those people in the dept. sending out the packets.

Just get someone live on the phone!!!! I did this the morning of my member meeting at HSC. They were cool and gave me the ##### right away.

and here it goes again....

When you get your member info call them and tell them not to market to you. No cancer insurance and other crap, just the magazine once a month and an annual bill until you decide to go life. Like the commercial says "One call is all it takes"

However if you are too busy for a 3 minute call, you can spend the rest of your life bitching about the mailings here on NES......
