NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE

September 9, 2009 Sept 9 to Sept 30th each Wed night
7:00 PM -9:30PM
Cost. $125.00 per student

Basic Pistol* is a 10 1/2 hour course designed for individuals who want to apply for an FID or License to Carry permit. Topics include:
Pistol Parts and Operation
Ammunition
Using a Pistol Safely
Operating a Pistol
Cleaning, Storing, and Transporting a Pistol
Shooting Fundamentals
The Bench Rest Shooting Position
Other Shooting Positions
Improving and Maintaining Shooting Skills
Massachusetts Laws Pertaining to Permit Application, Firearms Storage and Transportation
Proper handling of guns and actual firing of guns at a range is part of this course.
All gear, books, ammo and guns will be supplied.
Each student will receive a set of hearing & eye protection to keep.
Upon complication of the course you will receive a
NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate,
Massachusetts State Police Course Completion certificate
