Now you can order a Dodge Ram with a "holster"

Nah, I know 2 guys with rams and one with a dakota, endless problems, i mean non stop and most are major, 2 of the three are being repaired right now actually, one transmission and the dakota guy's rear axle locked up. I'll store my guns in the house, not out in the yard in a non functional truck.

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram I bought new. I have no problems. It's 9 1/2 years old now and I'm keeping it another 10.

My previous truck was a Toyota. I had it 13 years. Still ran great but the frame was shot. As you can tell I like to buy new and keep my trucks a long time.

ram trucks

Problems were in the 90's, 5yr 100K warranty, 2nd Ram, just bought it. Worth the money I paid. Love the truck but wouldnt lose the bed space for the boxes

That reminds me of the Fall Guy's truck anyone remember that show?

Well I'm not the kind to kiss and tell, but I've been seen with Farrah...

I used to love how his truck would jump 100 feet in the air, land on the grill, and then a brand new truck would drive away from it.

Though I will agree RAMs tend to have electrical and transmission problems depending on the year and model, every make and model has their own set of most likely potential problems.

I've had my 2008 for 35,000 miles now with no problems. My Dad's had his 2001 since it was brand new, no problems. My '08 is the best truck I've ever owned, I love it.

...and on-topic, I keep my guns in a case to transport them as I have to carry them to and from the vehicle in a case as well, so this wouldn't really work for me. I suppose it would come in handy for a hunter.
