I’m going to be making images for T-shirts, shirts, and sweatshirts for our forum. I need gun or shooting slogans to put on the backs of the shirt along with the northeastshooters.com logo.

Example: “If you can read this you're in Range…”

Please list them as you think of them. Once we have a decent selection of good ones I’ll get the images done and get the northeastshooters.com store up.

I'd suggest "Don't run, you'll only die tired!", but that's very NON-PC.

I do suggest Premier instead of best in your logo, though. Sounds better, like this forum really is.

Here's a good one:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

And another:
What part of "shall not be infringed" did you not understand?

and some more...

Incoming fire has the right of way.

First they came for the cigarettes and I didn't speak up because I don't smoke. Then, they came for the alcohol, and I didn't speak up because I don't drink. When they came for the chocolate I reached for my gun and ...oops!

Government is non-consensual S&M with the second amendment as the only safeword

What's wrong with a waiting period before you publish a newspaper while the government checks the facts?

The first amendment is meaningless without the freedom to not discuss the second

The strongest reason for people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government - Thomas Jefferson

Several of these are cheerfully stolen from www.nancybuttons.com

Some that I've seen out and about.

2nd Amendment: The difference between Politicians and Rulers.

Happiness is a Belt Fed Weapon.

Get the Shotgun, that'll learn 'em!

80 Million Gun Owners Can't be wrong.

An Inalienable Right can not be Licensed.

That's some funny shit. [lol] [lol]

I see I'm going to have to make a poll so we can choose our 5 or 10 most popular ones. Keep them coming.

I vote for the 2nd Amendment being my 1st choice. My 2nd choice (for the ladies anyway) would be what Ross's tag line used to be. The one about a woman raped and killed is morally superior to another woman explaining how the perp got holes in him. :D

Here it is...

Gun control: the theory that a woman found raped & strangled in an alley is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to the police how a rapist got that hole blown in him.

And another...

But the simple truth — born of experience — is that tyranny thrives best where government need not fear the wrath of an armed people.

That's the one!!

For the SF contingent, there's always the classic "The right to buy weapons is the right to be free," curtesy of Robert Hedrock (living temporarily in the guise of A.E. van Vogt).

Now, that'd be a great name for a gun store..." The Weapon Shop of Isher". :D

Uh... knowing how many ex- and current mil types there are on this board, not to mention LEO, I'd bet money that this is NOT true.

[added later] I'm also smart enough to NOT ask... I'm just assuming that it's true.

Close, but no banana.

Now this is funny.

I've had this idea in the back of my mind since I was about 15 of someday having a gun shop with that motto as a big neon sign. I've since replaced that with a big holographic sign as a more faithful rendition of the original. [wink]

Hell, I've been wishing I could get out of telecom and into something more in line with my hobbies (guns, bikes and antique watches) - but MA is NOT the place to open a new gun store. [cry]
