The bill is moving rapidly through the system. All the sponsors are Dems. in Hudson County right across the river from NY. Bloomburg's influence in that area is strong. Not good when one large state passes these bills. Sure to follow in others.

ASSEMBLY, No. 3511

with Assembly Floor Amendments
(Proposed By Assemblywoman QUIGLEY)

ADOPTED: MARCH 8, 2007

Assembly Bill No. 3511(1R) prohibits persons from purchasing
more than one handgun in a calendar month. This limitation does not
apply to law enforcement agencies and officers purchasing handguns
for use by officers in the actual performance of their law enforcement
duties.
These Assembly amendments also exempt from the one-gun-amonth
limitation collectors of firearms as curios or relics as defined in
Title 18, United States Code, section 921 (a) (13) who have in their
possession a valid Collector of Curios and Relics License issued by the
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The
amendments also clarify that the limitation does not apply to transfers
of handguns between licensed retail dealers.

Perhaps a silly question but ......... Does this mean that if you hold a C & R FFL that you are exempt completely, or is it that ONLY qualified C & R gun purchases are exempt?
