I run trijicon night sights on my Glock 22, while they glow great in the dark, I am noticing that they are not very easy to pick up during the day, mainly my front, making focusing on it a hard task to do. This is somethng I have never struggled with before and is very frustrating. I've noticed that around the tritium inserts the white paint is either chipped or dirty and thus very dull...

anyone know a way to effectivly paint around the inserts or clean these up to make them more vivid during daytime shooting?

or am i better off just paying more and replacing it?

thanks

I could be a smartazz and say "That's why they call them night sights !" but I have a set and have pretty much the same observation.

If you're going to replace them you might want to take a look at the TruGlo Tritium Fiber Optic handgun sights.

Fiber Optic and Tritium. Available in Green/Green or Green/Yellow

I wish I could get a set for my Colt. Good luck.

q-tip and some rubbing alcohol will clean up the white and any other gunk that has collected in there.
