Hello- I have been searching, I think I know the answer, but want to check. If family members from FL have rifles they want to give to me so I can keep them in NH, there shouldn’t be a problem there- correct? As mentioned, NH resident now, Perfectly fine rifles, purchased legally by family, legal in those states and NH. Only checking because was once a MA resident and couldn’t legally bring them into MA. Still getting use to being in a good state!! No problem?
thanks!

Transfer across state lines must go through FFL in recieving persons home state. If they're going to loan them to you, no FFL required as no transfer of ownership is taking place.
IANAL. just what I understand to be the law.

Not quite correct. Long guns must go thru an FFL, but the FFL could be in any state. Handguns only in the new owner's state of residence.
