I recently received a grant from the NRA to purchase 8 Air Pistols (Baikal IZH46) for a Junior Air Pistol program in NH.
I expect delivery of these pistols sometime in July.
The pistols will be distributed to parents of children who qualify:
1. Must be a member of GONH
2. Must pay $25 refundable deposit.
3. Child must be instructed in proper safety and use.
4. Parents must sign a waiver.
5. Pistols must be returned within 6 months.
6. Child must be able to hold a 3-5lb weight steady for 1 minute.
If anyone has a child that is interested in learning air pistol please let me know.
I am also putting together a complete training program for Juniors. I have not chosen a site yet. I am hoping to get permission to use the Nashua Fish and Game range provided that there are not too many hurdles and the indoor range is completed before September.
If anyone knows of a club that might want to host a Junior air pistol program please let me know.
