NH gun shop owner decides for you?

He gets sued and then fined by a government agency.

I think the christian baker can but he gets bad press and boycots. All 2a says is the the government can't infringe upon our rights. It doesn't say a shop owner can't refuse you if he doesn't like the cut of your jib.

Christian bakers fined $135,000 for refusing to make wedding cake for lesbians

The owners of a mom and pop bakery have just learned there is a significant price to pay for following their religious beliefs.

Aaron and Melissa Klein, the owners of Sweet Cakes By Melissa, have been ordered to pay $135,000 in damages to a lesbian couple after they refused to bake them a wedding cake in 2013.

$135k is a lot of dough.

And with a name like Aaron Klein you'd think he was Jewish! [laugh]

Then again the gun shop owner could be playing possum for the media..... Its better then MFS who basically put on a show of how the AWB does not stop AR15 OR AK Sales and then have the ag shut it down a few weeks later.

That's cute, but the thing MFS did happened like, a YEAR ago, not "a few weeks lago". Besides, whatever they did is not functionally any different from the 900 pro gun videos on youtube describing how stupid most assault weapons bans are anyways because they only ban mostly cosmetic features and not functional things.

MFS and other big gun shops rolled over and lubed up on the AGs bullshit, that's about 10 times worse....

...but all of it is under the bridge now at this point and doesn't ultimately mean much.

From 1999 until 2014, MA did not provide mental health records to NICS. The big hospitals argued it would stigmatize patients and make mentally ill less likely to seek treatment.

So when people ask, "Who is against background checks," you can say, "Boston teaching hospitals."

Well, I am actually in agreement with them, although I think they probably don't understand that the NICS system is only supposed to flag involuntary committments, which are pretty rare.

That said there is a lot of FUD going around in all directions with MH records. The tinfoil circles were getting vets ginned up over a possible misuses of PTSD diagnosis possibly resulting in guns being taken away, etc. It ultimately was
bullshit (at least so far) but a lot of people became very concerned about it.
