NH: Activist open carries into cop-shop

Without speaking to why their property was taken to begin with (I don't the story), it seemed they handled it just fine.

My concern would be that simply because a citizen is exercising their right to open carry, should not mean the need or presence of an extra/backup officer.

Maybe the extra officer was due simply to there being 5-6 ppl all holding tripods and cameras in the front area? That would also make sense.

Looks like a step in the right direction, i am missing background, but it looked good to me. Also +1 on the decision to reduce/cancel the planned demonstration.

Ya, it was boring and uneventful, but isn't that the point? It should be boring an uneventful.

Until everyone here shows up and fights for their rights, we need people/groups like this to do it for us.

Or am I missing something completely?

Ridley is a moron that gives us a bad name by going out of his way to be a dick to people. He's fighting for attention more than our rights, I open carry frequently, shopping, hiking, running various errands and have never had an issue, the only people that seem to have issues are the ones that try to get people worked up. Of course the 5-0 are going to get concerned when several armed people with cameras enter the police department but they didn't infringe on any rights and behaved professionally.

The only reaction I've ever noticed from open carrying was in home depot I was looking at some washers and I see a woman and her b/f/husband walk behind me I see her motion and mouth something out of the corner of my eye (toward me) and her significant other says "yeah? so?" and they continued shopping.

It's not like MA where you will be cuffed and stuffed for open carry and your rights will be stripped away, most places it's a non-issue completely so why try to make it into one?

Gotcha, and I've noticed on a few videos with him that they seem to be going out of their way to cause an issue, but then again he should have never been stopped while simply OC to begin with (the one video I saw when they cops basically stood in front/back of him and said nothing for awhile and wouldn't let him walk away). Sometimes we need people being over the top jack asses to bring issues to peoples attention.

If there is that many people with cameras in the front, I would walk out with someone else also, they acted 100% fine in this video, and that's a GOOD thing.

Broadsword too? I'm not watching.

Ridley, your like a 12 year old kid who keeps nagging his mom until she ****ing screams. I can't believe no one has kicked your ass yet. Keep trying to make money while trying to piss people off, and someday you'll get what your asking for.

I will agree he goes over the top at times. Hell, make that a LOT of the time.

That being said if it wasn't for guys like him, people would still be getting stuffed into police cars, even in NH. (It used to happen once in awhile, prior to (at the time) AG Ayotte issuing an opinion saying this kind of thing was not allowed, and that someone's "alarm" was not a reason to detain a person carrying a firearm. )

The thing is though, at this point, in between Ridley and some other people doing it, it's pretty much carte blanche that OC is "OK" pretty much anywhere in NH. That being said, once in awhile you might run into some moonbat establishments where cops might get called on you, etc. Most of the time, though, nobody cares... especially outside of places like Nashua/Salem/Manchester.

Testify, brother, testify. I couldn't have said it better myself.

It sounds like maybe more of his antics are needed in Nashua/Salem/Manchester then? Since so many of us aren't willing to put ourselves out there like he is.

No, thank you.

In those places it's not so much a problem with the police. It's a problem with high numbers of ma**h***s/transplants. EG, the police won't give you any guff if you're not an ass to them, but the odds of having them "summoned" on you for seemingly no apparent reason go up in those cities.

That's a problem that's not easily fixed. Particularly given that guh buh wuhs that call the police every time they see someone without a uniform carrying a gun go full retard and often make up stories or whatnot about the person carrying the gun. When someone calls the PD and says "theres a guy with a gun walking down XXX street!" in full moonbat panic cadence, by the time it gets to the LEO its just a generic "man with a gun" call, which leaves the LEOs to figure out what the reality is. It's not as if the moonbats who call the police are going to say something descriptive or interrogative like... "I saw a guy with a gun in a holster walking down the street. Is that illegal? He seemed to be minding his/her own business. "

Good for him. Anyone that disagrees can look no further than the B.S. laws they deal with in MA.....it's because of people like you that we have them in the first place cause you don't have the sack to use your rights to the fullest. Use it or lose it you damn pansies.

So I take it you open carry around MA then? I thought not, I use my right to bear arms everyday that I'm NOT in your god forsaken state but Ridley is still a moron, the goal of what he's after is noble but the way he goes about it is being a jerk and a PITA.

So don't lecture someone who carries and open carries quite often about his cause, I've open carried and never once had an issue so it's not like all over NH they are locking people up for open carrying or carrying in general and we were on the road to hell before the glorious Ridley came to our rescue because that is most certainly not the case.
