Anyone have good sources for news that don't make you want to slam your head against a desk?

News is an now an entertainment industry (it's all about selling ads, no one pays for news). People have a tendency to return to sources that are written with the slant (or in many cases outright ridiculous bias) in the direction they agree. Just read a bunch of sources, avoid the comments, and draw your own conclusions.
