Nope, this isn't the Onion reporting, it's real.

Evacuations of Homegrown Music Festival reportedly sparked by a tattoo

The evacuation of thousands of concert-goers from the Homegrown Music Festival last night was reportedly sparked by a tattoo.

Police said on Sunday morning that initial concerns were "to do with a tattoo" however they said the concern "was a mistake".

It has been reported the tattoo was thought to be linked to far-right ideology, however, it turned out it was traditional.

Around 5000 concertgoers were evacuated from the main stage at the Homegrown Festival in Wellington around 9.20pm.

Homegrown spokeswoman Kelly Wright said the incident was "an innocent misunderstanding".

I’m sure the minor inconvenience was well worth it and they thanked the police for keeping them safe.

lol, those hakas will be on par with dance of the sheep. First they elect their version of AOC, then they take it up their collective asses. An island of cucks.

It could have been one of those tattoos on the elbow that opens it's mouth when flexes.

    It could have attacked!!!

I'll bet it was a rune or some other pagan symbol. One similar to one that the mosque shooter had on his gear. A symbol with innocent enough roots, but gets people's jimmies all rustled because some whackjob shooter wore it. I can think of another symbol like that too... The fact is that even if it actually was one of those, its just a phucking tattoo... Whats a tattoo gonna do? Offend some snowflake to death?

Why the hell have they not put common sense tattoo restrictions in place? I’m not advocating a full ban, not yet.

    Precisely.

Because New Zealand is currently being held up as a model of what to do by our gun grabbers after a shooting.
From my reading New Zealand's list of what to do includes:
    1) Confiscate the firearms that are scary
    2) Don't allow people to freely speak or write about the murderer
    3) Embrace Islam as the religion of peace

Being right wing (or at least speaking truths that the left would prefer to ignore) has essentially already been criminalized in much of the EU. It sounds like the sheep in NZ are just about there as well.

There but for the first and second amendments we go.
