It’s already illegal and now we’re making an extra illegal and you could probably get sued personally or as a business for not posting signage

Not a lawyer but I think...

They are claiming the supreme court decision 'Whole Woman's Health v. Jackson' that allows the public to sue abortion clinics. Can be modified for justification to sue anyone who manufactures, transports or imports an assault gun (very broad definition, almost anything that can use be used an in assault)
