new parts compatible with gen 2 Glock19?

I was going to pick up a couple of lower parts and slide parts kits to have on hand as spares for a Gen2 G19. Just curious if there are any reasons a new oem kit might not work in an older gun.

As long as they're not parts specifically for a gen4/gen5 they should be fully compatible.

So far Im seeing P80 compatible and Gen3 compatible. Does Gen3=Gen2 as far as internals go?

For the most part, yes. The locking block may be different if yours is a 2 pin frame instead of a 3 pin, but you shouldn't ever need to replace that.
