Finnish VKT M39, 1941 date.

Pics to come later tonight, assuming Comcast doesn't crap out on me again.

Been watching for the perfect match for a while and finally found it. Perfect, like new, 100% finish and new stock, VKT manufacture to go alongside my badly beaten up, 5% finish Sako M39 and my like new Tikka M91.

That is wicked nice, great looking M39. How is the bore condition?

I really need to get a m39 soon, seeing yours just makes it worse.

Yep. It's so nice I'm afraid to shoot it.

Unless you give it the Dench butt stock through a windshield treatment, yer good to go and there is nothing you can do to that rifle that already hasn't been done to it. [laugh]
It may be a refurb, but it has been shot, been used, and tested for accuracy as were all Finn Mosins even after refurb process. Even hang tags were only put on after testing trials with hundreds of rounds

Yeah, but my corrosive ammo cleanup methods are sometimes lax. With my M91, I apparently didn't clean it enough once and had some minor corrosion two weeks later. Same with one of the 91/30s.

True... and I have plenty of Russians to use the corrosive stuff through. I have a solid pile of it lying around.
