I bought a pair of Howard Leight Impact Sport ear muffs 4 years ago. Lately they felt really uncomfortable because the pads that go over the ears had become dry and hard.
I was going to buy a new pair on Amazon when I saw you can get replacement pads. So I ordered a pair (gel pads, Prohear GEP02) and swapped out the old pads.
Ear muffs now feel brand new.
I just wanted to pass this along in case other folks (like me) didn't know you can upgrade the pads without having to buy a whole new pair of muffs.

I remember doing this with a David Clark headset back in my flying days 30 odd years ago. The foam filled ear pads pressing were brutal compared to the liquid filled ear pads. Huge difference.
