It's exactly what I need, but I already have two pistols that are exactly what I need, the G43X and the P365 (once I convert my XL to Macro).

So I'm unlikely to buy one - HK too late to the game.

I don't like the magwell flares... boxer fracture and it doesnt sit right in my hand and of the 17/19 varients

Need to peep a g20 i need a cold weather gun

I have a bunch of HKs but have to agree. I already carry a 43X in Spring and Summer and a P365 Macro in Fall and Winter. HK is way too late to the game. I used to carry a 9mm USPc and then a P2k but after carrying the 43X and Macro, the HKs haven’t seen much light of day.

Not true. My Glock had light strikes out of the box along with a gritty pull. Long story short it was the striker channel liner that got crimped on install. Replacing that is complete tear down territory…
 
Seems like handguns have reached Apple iPhone saturation. HK releasing a single stack CC pistol is like Apple finally adding a camera button to their phones. Theres nothing left to innovate.

In this case it's HK getting to the game like 3-5? years too late. "Nobody cares" etc. I'm sure it'll probably be a decent gun but it's not going to attract a ton of attention. It's a hard sell when you have the P365 barbie doll MicroMacro 480x variant" platform on 60% and then the remaining is ballasted by the 43/43x and the "Menstruation and Pee Shield(s) " etc. The rest of the market is basically Dr. Yang dropping a bunt in the spa....

The only reason id get interested in it would be if my vp9 mags work in it. Even then I already have mags for my 365 so that doesnt really matter too much
 
Guess I’m in the minority here but I’d get rid of my 365 for one of these. It’s a personal thing but I don’t like/trust Sigs and the only reason I have this one is due to the size/capacity. I also never liked the way the 365 felt in the hand due to the short front to back dimensions of the grip and it sounds like that’s something they fixed with the HK.

I agree on the 365s they are not my favorite but i just havent seen anything that competes with the macro x comp yet. Size and capacity shooting wise

1911 and 2011s are like this. Really atrociously shitty f***ing platforms (like, from a reliability pov) but the upside wins are too great to ignore.

Dude I lusted after an M3 and M4 for years. But after seeing the random failures? "Nope".

The wins are not big enough to offset that. 🤣

Also you can buy your way out of the 1911/2011 malaise. Nobody sells a BMW reliability package.

ETA: At least BMW is not at RR or Jag level of stupidity though. So there’s that.
