New gun shop opening!

website still says opening in spring. Its almost summer, anyone have a clue what the story is? Ive called a few times but no one called back.

Hello everyone!

Here is the official "State of the Shop Address". First I would like to thank everyone for their encouragement and patience during this process. We have made some additions to the shop as per building codes and are putting in a handicap ramp. Even though the Ephesian Arms Gun Shop is not "Officially" open for selling registered firearms or ammunition, our website has many parts and accessories still available for those who called about them. Those who called about any personal firearms, they are done through 100% legal transfers. Sorry, no back alley sales) Also, we encourage you to send us a friend request on NES, or contact us through our website for the open house invitation. Should you get a busy signal from the phone, don't worry, we're either on the phone with a customer or selling our organs to buy any cases of .223, 9mm, .45 or .22lr.

As far as the Grand opening I wish I could provide a more concrete date. We believe that the higher ups in the commonwealth might be holding back until our building is "up to date" per "Their special" standards. (And no I'm not joking about the quotation marks) However, that has not stopped us from progress including our "new to us" CnC machinery to expand our product line. Lastly, the moment we get the official word back for clearance from the Commonwealth I will be immediately posting the invitations and Grand opening date.

Thanks again for hearing us out and I'm genuinely looking forward to meeting you all.

Godspeed,
Michael

So I stopped by the shop yesterday to check it out. Let me tell ya, that place is stocked! The walls are lined with ARs, and AKs. I saw a few mosins, a kriss vector, P90 and a bunch of other goodies on the walls. While I was there the owner showed up with another half dozen or so M&P 15s.They mentioned that they will be doing cerakoting and a few other gunsmithing services there.

I hung out for about 40 min or so talking with the guys and they couldn't have been nicer. Friendly, easygoing and more than happy to shoot the shit. Considering the way some of the local shops are it was refreshing to walk in to a place and meet some decent people. I have to say I haven't been this excited about a shop in a long time. Can't wait to see them up and running!

Spoke with Mike this weekend - he is getting red taped with a handicap ramp (he is not complaining about the compliance) so it is taking a long time open.

Hopefully they will be open soon as my wife's LTC should be in any day now and she needs something to carry not in pink, I got the stick eye for suggesting pink. My daughter, however, is aching to get her FID next year so she CAN get a pink gun...

Yeh spoke with Mike a few weeks back and still working thorough some red tape with the higher up's. Im sure there is alo of headaches in this process. but the day will come soon..

Keep us posted on the grand opening im around the corner......

Here is one of our new additions, the "new-to-us" CNC machine. Also, the first of our Ephesian Arms Muzzle Break/Compensator line. This one is made from stainless steel from a spare piece of material. We are looking into several material options and coatings. Some of our other prototypes look good and I'll post pics once their done as well.

Godspeed,
Michael

Just stopped by today to pick up a complete upper... Wish I had more time to visit great shop and lots of nice EBR's.

cant wait to get in trouble from the wife for spending to much time and money there

As a new member to the shooting community and these forums I decided to stop by Fall River neighbor and take a peek at what they have to offer...

Mike is a great guy, extremely friendly and easy to talk to... If anyone is new to the shooting community you can feel comfortable with Mike. He is Helpful, informative and more than willing to share his knowledge...

Store itself is fully stocked and has lots of fun toys... Definitely will be stopping by again once he opens...

Thanks again, I'll see ya for the grand opening! (Maybe by then I can talk the wife into letting me make a small purchase :) )

The key word is "only." It "only" costs $1000 for a Colt Series 70, or it "only" costs $2500 for a new trap O/U gun. However it won't last long.

I was spending some quality time in the Riv today, and made it a point to stop in and check out Ephesian Arms. The shop is small but loaded with all the fun stuff! Ill list off some of the highlights that caught my eye... PLENTY of AR's, various AKs, 2 SKSs, a real nice Saiga 12, an Uzi with the wood stock, a mini Uzi, a gen 1 PS90, a PSL, M&P shields in both 9 and 40, a bunch of FALs, a Suomi with the drum, ans stacks of stripped and complete lowers.

I spent about a half hour talking with Mike, and can't emphasize enough how comfortable and welcoming this shop is. A truly nice group of guys working there and a great shop to have just a short drive away.

I wish them lots of success and I definitely recommend you guys stop in to take a look!

Just a heads up to my fellow NES'ers.

They just got in 4 M1 garands and I think 6 M1 Carbines.
I also saw a 1918 colt 1911.
As well as a bunch of other cool guns.

As always some gun porn!
