Looks great but I have the forum index page bookmarked so I bypass the front page anyhow!

What he said.

Looks very nice. I tend to agree that if it's only purpose is to be an opening page for the forums, it's kind of redundant and unneeded.

If you are open to suggestions, I'd like to see more links.

There should be links to ALL of the New England state associations.

EVERY NRA member should also belong to his state association, I fear the percentage that actually do is far, far too small.

(I don't think the NRA does enough to promote state association membership. Pet Bee-In-My-Bonnet.)

I'd like to see a Training Links Page with links to places like LFI, Sigarms Academy, S&W Academy, Defense Associates, etc.

A Training Caledar would be a nice touch. Could be a simple html page like your original design, one page per month, with a list of courses in date order.

Regards
John

Jarhead hit ctrl+f5 and you will reload and cache the new page.

Optimistic Paranoid, it's main purpose is when there is a problem with the forum I can post a message on the front page and let members know the forum is down for repairs.

If someone can please send me the each state's gun owners league I will add them.

When I upgrade to the new software I should be able to add calendars for training, matches, etc.

Thank you for the suggestions.

For the sake of completeness, and to remove the burr from under my saddle, could you please add Off Topic to the forum list? It is, after all, where many of us reside, and, recently, arguably the busiest forum on the board.
