Had this follow me home today... Along with another pair of gen2 (standard capacity) mags. I put the muzzle brake on it right away. Already looking at one of the aftermarket lowers that uses AR trigger group, safety/selector and grip to replace the factory one. The one I linked to is polymer, I'd like to get an aluminum one, but it needs to use the factory magazines (since I have five now).

Grips upgraded from black rubber to Pachmayer wood laminates in charcoal. Much better looks and feel.

Updated the Stribog configuration. Added a dot, sling swivel, changed the lower to one that uses AR trigger group plus selector. Installed a Rise trigger pack in it (had it on hand). Picked one of the grips that I wouldn't use on a rifle caliber. Showing all of the 30 round mags I have because I can.

Going to run it on Saturday afternoon.

bnz43 (Steyr) K98k. Mismatched, supposedly ex-Ethiopian use but with an ex-Turk stock. Came externally clean, but I spent some time on the bore to get it to average. Replaced the VZ24 sight hood with a German one from my parts stash, along with a cleaning rod and sling. Destined for use as a loaner in my WW2 group. Will put some rounds out of it at some point.
