New England Steak Tips

Flank steak is the best for tips. Slice it, now you have two choices. Dry them off and liberally coat them in salt and pepper and refrigerate for between 1 to 6 hours. Coat in olive oil just before grilling. Or you can marinate with Ken’s Italian dressing, Japanese soy sauce (not that kikkoman shit, the good stuff), and honey/brown sugar.

@Skysoldier I have no steak tip advice but if you want to splurge, plenty of Maine lobster places will ship you “live and kicking” Lobstah…..I worked with a guy who sent a dozen live Lobsters to a client who had never had Maine Lobster. He was annoyed when the client never mentioned it or thanked him. Then one day he inquired and the guy said he felt bad about telling him they arrived spoiled because they were all reddish/bluish/black, so he threw them away 😂. This was long before the internet.
A buddy runs a commercial lobster boat in RI and occasionally sells lobster right off the boat. Last Summer he had a couple come down the dock who looked like they just stepped out of the LL Bean catalog asking if he had lobsters for sale. He said yes and put a crate full of fresh caught lobsters on the dock and told them to help themselves. They looked disappointed and then asked if he had any "red" ones....

No kidding? I used to go to the one in Framingham at Speen/Rte 30. I just checked and they took over the Bauhinia chinese restaurant location. No peanut shells on the floor any longer but looks like they still do the popcorn. I see steak tips!

I still have an old Ground Round menu. On nights I can't sleep, I read it. I don't usually make it past page 26 before I'm nodding off.

Steak tips are the tilapia of the steak world. Fine, basic for everyday home cooking

Depends on whose making the tips. There's clearly a gradient. Most are not found in restaurants though. And you don't see a steak place selling them because they don't want to pull attention away from the stuff that makes them money.

This is a ridiculous amount of ingredients. If you need this many flavors for your steak tips, then are buying the wrong meat. KISS
