Have you ever wondered what you would do if you witnessed an accident on the shooting range, or while hunting? Obviously, a 911 call is a good first step, but when seconds count, help will be minutes away.

I'm happy to bring in Thom Kane to teach the new 4-hour Basic Trauma Intervention (BTI) class. This course was created by Thom using information from Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Stop the Bleed, and best-practices ER trauma care. Whether it is being injured during a violent encounter or being first on scene to a traumatic injury, BTI can potentially help save a life or slow down blood loss until advanced care arrives.

Topics Include:
  • The use of tourniquets
  • Using hemostatic agents
  • Applying compression bandages
  • Dealing with shock
  • Assembling your trauma kit
  • Much more...
Instructor Thom Kane draws on his years of experience in Emergency Room care, ambulance work, and real-life experiences to provide a unique hands-on learning experience that enables students from all walks of life to quickly grasp what is often an intimidating skill set.

The tuition for the class will be $125.
The date is May 14, 2022
The location is my classroom in Littleton, MA

FWIW, we've purchased a couple of these based on some of the learnings from the Basic trauma course w/ Thom Kane. Nice compact kit w/the essentials for nominal gun shot wound intervention. We added the Swat-T tourniquets to the kits as well. On sale ATM:
