New Acquisitions November

Picked this up yesterday for the wife from another NESer. It replaces her last 10/22 that we sold last year. I wanted a bolt action for her, since .22 LR high velocity has been tricky to come by. Picked up a brick of the Quiet this morning at Riley's.

Then came the real bargains, bought at an auction platform:
$1.25 for this mag and the training round; got to check it out for markings once I have it in hand

$ 3.75 for those two and the training rounds. Nothing, a kerosene bath and 0000 steel wool can't fix

The seller claims to have another 30 mags and, as he is in my neck of the woods, will likely be rid of them when
we possibly meet next week. No such thing as having too many mags[smile]

I just agreed with the seller that I'll pick up the mags tomorrow plus a box full with the rest of the mags[party]
I wonder what else he's got. Me thinks I've got to pay the ATM a visit before I go[wink]

This past Sunday I picked up a used Mossberg 500AG up in NH, I feel like it was a solid deal at $225. I've been considering/looking for a used pump action 12 Gauge for a while now for potential future duck hunting, clay shooting, general use, etc. I already have a Winchester Model 12 and a Remington 870 (both in 12 Gauge) I was looking mainly towards a Mossberg. I have yet to shoot it, but I've already gone through the whole gun, cleaned & lubed it, and I found myself very thoroughly impressed with it and it's simplicity!

I have the synthetic furniture on my 870 and I've always enjoyed the traditional look of a walnut stock on a pump action, so I hit just about every nail on the head with my latest purchase. Although I see myself opting to buy a 590A1 Trigger Assembly just to have it be all metal.

I apologize for poor cell phone quality: But hey Gun Porn is Gun Porn

Still crazy after all these years...

I've managed to add one or two new guns this November; A pair of Rock Island Tactical II 1911s in 10mm (full-sized and Commander size with rail), an Alton Dinan .38 Special wadcutter bullseye Colt, a S&W Model 5906TSW, Colt Targetsman from 1960, a Jim Clark Senior long slide .38 Special wadcutter gun; a Swiss Peabody-Martini .41 Swiss target rifle, and finally got around to buying a Romanian Tokarev. The Dinan came by way of Cabela's Gun Library in Oregon; it was listed as a Colt .38 Super government model with a full-length Bomar sight rib. When I went to the range to try it, .38 Super would not chamber. When I got it home I tried some .38 Special Mid-range wadcutter ammo and it fit perfectly! Shoots a lot better too! I should have the Tok tomorrow but here's some photos of the others.

Someone was busy in November!

Found one. Mary Mother of God, this is a freaking nice Gun, and all it's bases belong to me...

Those Krauts really know how to make a firearm. [wink] Put the small backstrap on with medium side panels and it is by far the best grip I've ever tried. And the trigger is every bit as good as people say.

Knights Armament SR25 ECC, picked her up first of the month but wanted to wait until she had glass before I posted a pic of her here. I waited two years to take delivery of her. Well Worth The Wait!
