New Acquisitions November 2024

Picked up on 11/1: Mauser M2 in .45 ACP made by Sigarms in the early 2000s. The frame has obviously been made at the late Sig Sauer facility in Eckernfoerde, Germany which has been moved to Isny in Southern Germany, whereas barrel and slide are made in NH. Interesting technology: striker fired and a rotating barrel.
I wanted one for years but couldn't find one in .45 at a halfway reasonable price. There are many more on the market in .357 SIG and .40 Soft&Weak which don't command prices like the .45.
SIGArms, Sig Sauer, the Mauser brand and Blaser are owned by the same group.

Just finalized a purchase of a vintage 1942 S&W Victory Military and Police revolver in 38 S&W. It has stamping indicating it was issued to a British soldier during WW II as part of the lend lease program. Can’t wait for this to arrive.
Parker Hale is an English gun manufacturer/distributor. Looks like they have brought this gun into civilian circulation.

For the fun of it I just ordered this this morning, I'm literally beat the bag out of it and see what it can take.

I've never owned a PSA upper before but for $189 why not have some fun with it, I only got one beater rifle that is actually a pretty nice FN build so this one is going to get some hard use.

I have a few from them in different calibers and haven’t had a single problem in probably 10+ years of shooting.

Another bucket list revolver down, no dash 657, needs a really good cleaning but otherwise in great condition.

Edit: Damn this thing was filthy...It hasn't been cleaned in a looong time. got it about 80% clean, will finish up tomorrow and I put the original grips back on too.

So i picked this up the other day. It a 1954 Garand (barrel date is 6-54). It's registering about 3 & 3 on muzzle wear and the chamber. Its not a war time production so i have a Criterion 308 barrel on the way so i can shoot somewhat cheaper ammo out of it.
