Manfrotto tripod and hog saddle.
It's a GECO
Pretty neat between wars gun.
Not a gun but thought this was cool. I guess Sam himself was handing these out in London back in 1851 at the Crystal Palace - what would be the first world's fair. The Colt booth was apparently pretty cool.
That's really fascinating! Schwag from 1851, the Crystal Palace, Sam Colt, it's like a movie!
Finally found a Marlin Camp .45 to go with my Marlin Camp 9. Won it on Gunbroker, should be here in a day or 2. I have a cowbell metal target that's just waiting for this to ring it! These truck guns are a lot of fun for just plain old Saturday afternoon plinking. ********* Just a quick update the .45 arrived and I picked it up and did the transfer at 4 Seasons on Thursday. I hope to get to the range today or Sunday and give it a try out!
I picked up this 03 tacoma today for a project/dog hauler, i was originally looking for an FJ or a newer tacoma but this one was tastefully modded and meticulously cared for by its previous owner. its pretty much setup exactly how i want it, but im going to fab a mount for my tepui sky 3 roof top tent over the bed. I drove it up Mount Ord north of phoenix today, tons of fun, I cant wait to spend more time in this buggy.
NICE. great to be where the rust doesn't completely eat a truck in 10 years.
Livin the good life brotha!
Just added today a nice little Colt Cobra .38 spec. snubby from a Forum Member. Thanks!
It's been a busy month, CE 42 Bolt Mismatch. everything else matches..

Picked up a my first Sauer today CE 1942
M34 beretta. Holster and binocs. WWII capture papers tied to pistol and binocs serial numbers !
Got my first SBR stamp approved today, so I bought a 12.5" upper for my CGAR.
Picked up a used (basically new, not many rounds fired by my eye) M&P15-22 for my wife for her first Mother's Day. We came across this one a few weeks ago and decided go back this past weekend to take it home with us. She's wanted one for a while so what better present to get her for Mother's Day than a .22 rifle?
For myself, I added a No. 4 Mk. 1 to go with my SMLE. I've wanted an example for a while however it hasn't been something I've been actively seeking out. 1944 Maltby that went through the FTR process in 1948 at Fazakerley. She's in really nice shape with a mint bore....might not be the most collectible Lee Enfield out there but she should be a good shooter.
A couple things I’ve wanted
Have never seen these as square notch
I want these, where did you buy them?
There were the only 2. From a place in Maine, they appear to be new no carbon on them. Usually they are all nasty and beat up.
New 10K GVW Dump Trailer (retired the old one after 15+ years)
Technically not a new acquisition, but I just got it back from being hard chromed which gave it a new lease on life so I'm counting it.
And yes, I put an orange plastic insert in the front sight of my Colt, S&W-style. What are you going to do about it? If Colt could put them on Pythons I figured what the hell.
Nice! Love me some hard chrome. My HC'd 1911 has been holding up well to holster wear.
Separate names with a comma.
