Marlin 1894 CST

I had been looking to get one of these for the past few months. Glad to see that Brian was able to get it from one of his distributors and it arrived quickly (few days from green lite to arriving).

My 9mm poverty pony.

RC 1936 S/243 (Mauser-Borsigwalde) K98k. Also a new MilSurp bunny inspector; a rescue 2 year mini-lop. We recently lost one to lung cancer.

I just went back and read through the rest of the posts... ohhh lordy that’s one of the models I’d want. I want a .357 to go with my Ruger GP100

That's one of the major reasons I wanted a lever action in 357 Magnum. I've had the GP100 for a while now, so once the 1894 came available, it was an easy decision. If this weekend wasn't going to be suck a furnace, I'd be going to the range. I still might, but I'll have to try for an early morning trip.

There were a couple marlins in 357 that I can’t justify yet but I want all of them. Lol
Only brand with a side load. I love the hardened receiver Henry’s but hate the tube feed.

Not a new gun but a new Dan Wesson 8" 357 mag barrel assembly that I sent to Bob at DW to drill and tap and install their scope mount. Just need to bring the scope mount to Steve at Northeast Arms to cerakote it in a stainless finish so it matches the rest of the gun.

And it will be a closer match to its bigger 10" 44 mag brother:

SF SOCOM 762 for my SR25 finally approved.

Magpul stocks on the 15 and 25 to keep me from smashing myself in the face shooting off a rear bag.

Leupold Mark 4 spotter, badger ordnance SLICK rail system, nylon cover, cat eye cover, PEQ, manfrotto tripod. PVS30 mounts on the dick rail up front for low light spotting.

I handled one at Outer Limits in Holbrook last year, it was very nice, the picture doesn’t do it justice.
