Love it! Itching for my own!!

Just bought a Ruger #1 in 375 H&H Magnum today. Will try to post a picture when I figure out how
I am going to smuggle it into the house. [thinking]

Thureon Defense 9mm

Picked this up at North Shore Firearms today. Came with one 10-rnd Uzi mag and bought an extra. Took it straight to the range and ran 100 rounds through it and it ran great even though it was bone dry. Fun gun and feels really solid. Besides the pistol grip and the foam cheek pad, I don't think there are any other non-metal parts.

Now I'll be looking for pre-ban 32 rnd Uzi mags. Let me know if you have any you want to sell!

It also came with a hard plastic case - nice.

</center> thanks to a 2 old timers and giving me a great deal on these old dogs. Took a few parts hunts to get them up and running. ones a scrubbed non matching rifle(one with anti air craft sights) it was as it sits. the other was a mum intact match bolt and reciever. needed bolt guts and band screws, upper hand guard should be here next week. I cleaned the wood with a quick dish soap warm water just to get the dust and newer grime off. CLP and wipe off the rest...

wow that has a short sight radius

needs more optics !

Indeed it does! There will be optics in the not too distant future...

And I just found an on-line dealer selling pre-ban 32 rnd uzi mags for 9.50 so I ordered a bunch.

Sold my existing Remington WWII refurbished/all park finish M03A3 to fund 3/4 of this excellent collector grade example. All correct as issued 9/43, early cross bolt instead of pinned stock, FJA/RA/OG proofed. Only flaw is that the butt plate has minimal finish; I've got a NOS one on the way. Sling is an original PKW/1944.

I've only got room for one, and I wanted a great one. This is the first example of the new trend in my collecting.

Blaser Tac 2 in a custom chassis by Sig USA in .338 Lapua. 1 of 3 in existence in this chassis. Can't wait to shoot it and hear the draining of my bank account with each shot.

Each single round is probably more than I can afford to shoot $$$ dollar wise

New M&P Shield

I just picked up an M&P Shield in 9mm. Here is is with some of my other polymer S&W's. From top to botton: M&P9 with action by Burwell, M&P40 Compact custom by Burwell, M&P Shield, Bodyguard 380.

I haven't decided what to do with the Shield, but the trigger has to go. I've installed a few Apex kits, but they do not compare to a custom action job like Dan Burwell's. Ameriglo will release night sights for the Shield in a couple of weeks. I may also hard chrome the slide and controls like on my M&P40 Compact. The LaTour IWB holster shown below is also on my list (made in CT).
