It's seems like Jan 2014 start out late. I don't have new gun, but got a few parts for my AR10 build. Order during Christmas, but delivered after New Year.

Been away from the forum for a while, back in a place with internet now! [smile]

Got these for Christmas, just had them installed today; Trijicon HD Night Sights with yellow outline. These things are AWESOME! Can't wait to get them out to the range

Also got a pair of PIG FDT Alpha gloves. I'm very impressed by these, well thought out concept, built from the ground up for shooting. Very comfortable, great trigger finger feel, and the rolled over seams on the finger tips are very comfortable and allows for greater dexterity.

With only a Millet red dot (I need a better understanding of scopes) I first used a laser bore sighter at about 10 yards to get close, then at the range I was able to dial in pretty damn well if I do say so myself. This was at 25 yards:

Looks like some nice pick-ups so far this month. Is that a Boyd's stock on the 597?

To contribute, I picked this up off a fellow NES'r tonight as my new carry gun. Love this thing - have lusted over one for a long time, excited to finally get my hands on one.

i haven't got it yet, but i am seriously tossing around the idea of purchasing a springfield socom 16 towards the end of the month. gotta wait until i close on my house and what not and check my funds again.

i don't have a compact, but i have a 1911TA and they are really awesome pistols. smith and wesson does a great job with the "E" series in my opinion. i don't know if i'll ever buy another .45 to replace it.

Picked up an SR22(threaded barrel) the other day, based in large part on the reviews here. Was between that and the Sig mosquito, but the stories of the Sig being very picky with ammo tipped the scale.

Sent from my phone....which isn't really a phone anymore, it's a computer on my pocket

You going to love the T-HD's the best sights out there IMHO
