New Acquisitions April 2019

Those are neat. Have you shot it yet? Curious to hear a range report.
Brought it to the range today. Less of a kick than I was waiting for. Put about two dozen rounds through it without a problem. I was waiting for it to loosen up a bit but that never happened. It’s fairly well made and the metallurgy is spot on. Granted, it’s not a tack driver but I was able to keep everything within a 1.5” at 5 yards. The only sight picture is a groove down the barrel so I consider that a victory.

Nice!

This has easily been the most expensive gun-related April ever. May can’t come soon enough. I still have one coming up on the docket, and then it’s over for the year. Unless a P365 comes along. Or a HK 45C...

Uniden SDS100 Scanner

Info LINK: SDS100 Coming Soon - Uniden

This is a full SDR (Software Defined) digital trunking APCO Phase 1 & 2 and simulcast function ("state of the art") scanner with a loaded data-base of all public emergency services throughout the US.

You can even add a GPS module and this unit will auto-update and monitor the "local" emergency services = as you travel from area to area.

But does it blend?

Looks like a very capable unit.

Finally got a picture of the whole group. Now I just need a Gold Cup Trophy and National Match to complete the set! That's not happening for a long while though. I also wouldn't mind getting some of the older vintages of these, but the prices for those that have been taken care of, if not even fired, are out of reach for me for now.

Decided to get my son a new rifle for his birthday. Went with the "matching" Ruger Precision Rimfire to go with my 6.5CM Precision Rifle. Can't wait till his birthday so he can see his new rifle!

Got a 1-4x Primary Arms scope to go on top of it.

Very nice! One of my patients got an absolute steal on a last year model A6. Apparently, one of the seat sensors that detects if you're in the car wasn't working, so the dealer couldn't sell it. He got this brand new A6 for TWENTY TWO THOUSAND (after trading in a '15 Q5 for around $16k) Holy moly

That’s crazy! We got a great deal on this. 2015 with 14,000 miles for $28k. The original 18” wheels looked terrible. Bought the 20” with Pirelli P Zero S6 takeoffs on the Audiworld forum,

Had to drive to NJ for the wheels and tires. Your welcome for not starting a “going to NJ, should I take my gun?” Thread.
