Looks very juicy and tender... and if you like the taste of the rub, then I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

For a nice piece of meat like that though, I would have just gone with a great sea salt and cracked pepper.
You guys are funny. Purists. You don’t think I could’ve thrown some salt and pepper on that? [laugh] I love that rub blend. It was fantastic on my Wagyu gold brisket/burnt ends. It was even better on the steaks. Like buttah!

I've been seriously eyeing up the 26 to replace my 22. I wish they made a reasonably priced 30"

Just got word that fabrication has finally started on my LSG. They say 14 business days to complete and then shipping time. Should have by mid november so maybe will be able to smoke a thanksgiving turkey after all.
Time for break in and test cook. Looking forward to seeing the results

BBQ’d the shit out of some chicken breasts tonight. Another hit. Get some Meat Church & Meat Mitch rubs and sauces. They’ve upped my game. Damn!

I may have to try those. For research. We have an extensive spice collection and I try not to get stuck on pre prepared mixes because in theory I think I can reverse engineer some of their ideas. But your results look incredible

I’m being truly honest when I say these products are fantastic. I mix different rubs. Mop on different sauces. Every one is a hit.
My spice cabinet is pretty substantial as well. I’ve just never been so blown away by products.
I’m not dismissing the fact that I’m a pretty good cook as well.;)[laugh]
I get the Meat Mitch “haul of fame” and the Meat Church “the ocho”. These are assorted products from their lines.

That's right. Plain old chicken legs, marinated in salt, pepper, lots of lemon and greek oregano cooked over some cherry chunks. 3 hrs of spicy red beans and rice for the side as well as beet salad (not pictured), stems and greens included
That looks awesome, but... you fired up the kettle for five drumsticks???

Got tired of moving my grills around the garage, so I freestyled this hillbilly shack mostly out of lumber I had kicking around or traded for, I am pretty pleased with it. I am thinking about getting some kind of fire retardant board to lay down under the weber when it use because I get a little paranoid about burning charcoal on the deck. Other then that, just some stain or water seal it's pretty much done.

And while not BBQ, here is some bfast porn.

I have a small 20"x20" gas grill that I am going to add once I clean it up and build it a small stand/prep table for when I am being lazy and don't want to light charcoal.

Right behind you.
My lone star grillz 24x40 finally came this morning. What a chore uncrating it and getting it over the little lip at the end of the driveway. 1439 lbs of steel.

Got a half cord of red oak coming tomorrow. Will season it and play with the tuning plates on Saturday and running some ribs on Sunday.

Pics are a little deceiving, this thing is absolutely massive.

That thing looks awesome. They sure did a good job crating it too :). Can't wait to hear how it works.
