Need ideas/convincing

Hey everyone,


So heres my what Im up against.... Doing a 300 blackout build from scratch and I want to build a very reliable rifle. Im stuck between what to do for an upper reciever. What i really want is a monolithic rifle lenth upper with a gas piston system hidden away underneth BUT I have found this to not be possible, unless someone else is wiser on the situation. So if that set up is not possible, should I either go with the monolithic upper with a gas impingment system or should i go a standard upper with gas piston with a proper quad rail!? Im so torn!!!

Go with what you like. I still use DI on my builds. While I appreciate and understand the benefits of a piston set up, they don't make me feel warm and fuzzy enough to matter.

.300aac is notoriously hard to find and pretty pricey. just fyi. unless you cut down your own .223 and reload you might not get it to shoot that much.

The ammo isnt the problem. Already reloaded 400 rounds with ease.
