I have had good luck with Gunbroker but there are others out there and I'm wondering which ones to take precautions with other than Armslist. I'm looking for an older model revolver and trying to expand beyond Gunbroker without possibly getting burnt.

Thanks in advance
John

Some other sites are gunauction.com and gunsamerica.com. I had one bad experience with gunauction and I haven't used gunsamerica. IMHO, neither site is as good as Gunbroker as I've made over 30 transactions without a problem.

I had great luck with Gunsamerica during the height of the panic in 2013. At a time when an auction could run several hundreds over retail on a new gun, most Gunsamerica deals are simple sales. So a dealer who just wants to make a reasonable profit does just that. No competing for the purchase.

Since then I've purchased on Gunsamerica a couple of times when specific used guns were available there. Overall, I'd say it is a great alternative to GB.

I'd stay away from armslist as others already know.
