Need a gunsmith who can do a blueing job.

Nothing major... a few AK parts (top covers, cleaning rods, bolt carriers and a 92-FS slide).

Closer to the Boston/Medford area the better.

Any guesstimates on what it would cost?

Dunno about cost. But I suspect Greg Derr, David Santurri, or Karl Sokol could do the work.

I don't know of many gunsmith's in the area who do their own blueing. Most of the ones I talked to send the parts out.

If you're still interested, try PSMG in Arlington, along with the bluing he did some other work as well I had my Desert Eagle done there and it looks great. It took about a week. Word of warning though, he made me give him my mags as well because he thinks if you're gonna do it, do it all.
