Anyone in the North Shore area have a Glock front sight tool I could use? Just need to remove a front sight so I can return the slide. Should only take a few seconds.

eta- Im in Danvers, work in Chelsea.

it's a 3/16" hex tool.
can buy one at any decent hardware store. i got mine at ace hardware and filled it in with cotton to make it more shallow (to hold the screw in place better when inserting).

Its for a goofy Lonewolf g17 long slide. Theres a small hole in the angled part to the bottom of the slide that it has to pass through. Its not exposed like in a regular Glock.

Anyway, a member was cool enough to offer to meet me after work tomorrow so Im all set.

I used a cheap socket from a screwdriver set. The socket wall still hit the front of the slide so I ground it down to make the walls thinner on the bench grinder. Works great and I've used it for many night sight installs
