Nashua Fish & Game is having an 1800 bullseye match this weekend (90 shots .22 and 90 shots centerfire (.32-.45). Slow fire at 50 yards, timed and rapid fire at 25 yards. After the 1800 they'll have a Distinguished Pistol Shot Excellence in Competition match. Details below.

Rules: In accordance with the current edition of the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Competition
Rules for Precision Pistol.
Eligibility: Open to all eligible participants. You do not have to be a member of NFGA, the NRA, nor a
CMP affiliated club to participate.
Registration Fees:
CMP Precision Pistol 1800 $35.00
CMP Service Pistol EIC $15.00
Note – All fees are waived for junior competitors (age 14-17) with a parent or legal guardian. If the junior
competitor is not a NFGA junior member, parent or legal guardian must be present for the relay in which
the junior is competing.
Entries: There will be two relays of 14 competitors (28 total). Competitors should pre-register by e-mail
at [email protected], indicating SUN AM or SUN PM. Please also specify if you will be shooting the SP
EIC. This match will follow both the AM and PM 1800’s. Registration will be completed and fees collected
upon arrival.
Competitors arriving the day of the match, without registration or pre-registration, will be accepted on a
space-available basis. Personal checks, cashier’s checks, and cash will be accepted.
Match Schedule: Registration begins at 0800 for morning relays and 1200 for afternoon relays. Firing
will commence promptly at 9AM (morning relay) and 1PM (afternoon relay). The course of fire is listed
below. All firing will be conducted in the NFGA Outdoor range (Fowler Range).

Classification: The CMP classification system for precision pistol competitions will be used for the 1800,
and is summarized below for clarity. Competitors without a CMP classification may use their NRA
classification until obtaining a CMP Precision Pistol classification.
CMP Classifications
High Master: >97%, Master 95-96.9%, Expert 90-94.9%, Sharpshooter 85-89.9%, Marksman <85%
Divisions: Competitors may elect to shoot in either Service (iron sight) or Precision (any sight) divisions.
To shoot in the Service Division the competitor must notify the Match Director prior to the commencement
of the 900 match. Any competitor who does not otherwise notify the Match Director of such election shall
compete in the Precision Division. Scores fired in all divisions will be combined for awards purposes.
Awards: Awards will be given to the winners in each of the 11 matches. A first place award will be given
in each classification category for each match provided that there are at least 5 competitors in the class
and category. A second place award will be given if there are at least 10 competitors in the class and
category, and a third place award will be given if there are at least 15 competitors in the class and
category.
Challenges: A challenge fee of $1.00 will be charged for each challenge made. Challenges will be
judged and validated by a 3 person jury.
Match Conditions: Scoring will be done by competitors. Competitors will pass scorecards right and
score the target on their left; a range officer will score the high target. Competitors will be responsible for
repairing their own targets. Scorers and competitors must sign each scorecard in order to receive credit
for the match. Range personnel will assist in every way possible to avoid delays. Competitors may use
approved overlays to assist in scoring targets. Only Range Officers may use approved scoring plugs. If
a shooter disagrees with the point value of a shot a Range Officer can be requested to plug it. Once a
plug is placed in a target it may not be removed until the score is resolved. Challenged targets will be
removed from the target frame by a range officer and taken to the Chief Range officer for scoring.
Competitors must provide their own staples and staple guns.
Range Facilities: The NFGA Fowler Range provides sanitary facilities. Water will be available during
the match (provided by CMP), but no food will be provided.
Club Regulations & Safety: Violations of CMP pistol rules, club regulations, or good safety practices,
will result in the competitor’s removal from the range and forfeiture of fees. Signing of a club hold
harmless agreement and a CMP Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement is required of all competitors.
Eye and ear protection must be supplied and worn by each shooter firing on the range. A screen is
recommended as there are no dividers between firing points. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECIs, chamber
flags) are mandatory for
uncased firearms when the line is cleared. All competitors are required to attend a range safety briefing
prior to participation in the match. A safety briefing will be provided prior to each relay.
NFGA Range Safety Officers (RSOs) will officiate the event and run the line. CMP Range Officers will
adjudicate disputes and challenges and conduct registration
