Busch races are usually pretty dead...Not saying full tomorrow for the Cup race,if they were selling out there would still be 2 races there.

For those camping at NHMS, hide your picnic baskets, Yogi is looking for him and Booboo.

Not necessarily, the September date got moved to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, giving them a second annual race.
Bigger track, more seats, and more people to fill those seats, because Vegas is an international travel destination with a zillion hotel rooms nearby, not so much with New Hampshire.

    Norwood mostly.
I used to love the modified races. Seekonk on a Saturday night with fireworks after. Never been the Thompson or Staffirs.

My only Winston Cup race was the plate race that Burton led wire to wire. Total suck. Earnhardts last trip to NH.

Have the Honda generator loaded with 3 fans and the a/c unit that rigs to the back window of my tent.
Lots of beer and waters .
Four ten pound blocks of ice in the coolers and a pail of richies watermelon slush in the freezer waiting for its vodka friend.
Have a Wagner power sprayer loaded with spf50.

    Took Monday off to recover

Doesn't say how he went. Seems he had a ton of friends in the garage. RIP.

Any bleacher fried eggs on the menu? @Lowbird

But in all seriousness, I pass along my condolences to the family of Mr. Harrison.

The pre-race show crew said a few words in his honor, he was only 37 years old.
My guess is a heart attack from the heat, got several news alerts for medicals at the track last night.

    RIP

And it's only 89 degrees in Loudon right now.
I was there once in November and there were a lot more fans in the seats.

Feels a little hotter than 89.....
Once I get the chills I'm calling It quits and getting under the stands. Hasn't happened in a few years that the heat got to me. Just soaked right now. Melting some fat off for sure.

I was there..scraped frost from the seats lol

Stands look half full today and has nothing to do with the weather.

Good example is the 9 seconds from 1st to 10th

    Interesting day.
That was the day after Thanksgiving 2001, it was the first career win for Robby Gordon, and the only win for the #31 Richard Childress car with the Lowes sponsorship.
Lowes went over to the #48 after that race, and we all know how that worked out for them.
I shot this video from the stands of RG's victory burnout:

NASCAR suspend Bayley Currey for violation of Substance Abuse Policy

NASCAR officials suspended driver Bayley Currey for violating NASCAR’s Substance Abuse Policy.

Officials announced the indefinite suspension — effective immediately — Thursday at Bristol Motor Speedway, where Currey was entered in the Monster Energy Series and Xfinity Series races for Rick Ware Racing. The news was first reported by Frontstretch.com.

Currey said in a statement that he had used a pre-workout supplement called Juggernaut Irate, which contained a banned substance called DMAA (2-Amino-5-methylhexane). The 22-year-old driver said the ingredient was in his system when medical personnel administered a drug test last week.

“I was obviously not aware that I was violating NASCAR’s Substance Abuse Policy,” Currey said in a statement provided by his team. “I have immediately asked NASCAR to enter me into the Road to Recovery Program where I will gain more knowledge about such banned supplements and I will fully cooperate with NASCAR’s direction and advice.

Will NASCAR join the ranks of Dicks and Yeti?

Looks like they don’t want anything to do with guns anymore.

May they crash and burn on the front stretch. Dopes.

I doubt it, their redneck fan base will abandon them.
Also, the NRA was the co-sponsor of last weeks race at Bristol, Nascar had no problem taking their money.

Anyone think the hurricane will affect the race at Darlington on Sunday night ???
Maybe an earlier start time or postponement ???
