My wife is coming around... kind of...

Well- I couldn't hide the new AR15 in the safe so I told her I was going to get one and when I did she didn't really have much to say. She kinda goes along with it and doesn't complain so I 'm happy. Once in a while she'll ask to go to range and shoot but not often.

The funny thing is since I've been spending some time admiring the AR15 it's been locked (trigger lock) but in open display a bit... she keeps telling me to put my "machine gun" away!! Sometimes there is hope... How hard is it to really get a machine gun permit now... I'm clear!

LOL. I'm sure she really wouldn't know. But I feel I need a 1911 before going down that path. Anyhow I'm happy with the AR for now.... Oh wait. I've said that before I got my 229, 239, 245, 228, 686, G26, G27... Oh damn!

Have her hang out with my boss for a bit. I've spent 2500 bucks on firearms in the last 30 days and figured she would put a stop to it for awhile. She's clueless about guns, but today she was going to LL Bean in Nashua and as she's leaving she says:

"If you tell me what to look for, I'll see if they have any of those pre ban thingies you wanted."

Bless her heart, but I don't even think they sell firearms there.

My wife knows of guns I sold before I met her, and how much I regret having sold some of the more interesting items.
She has made it clear that I will, under no circumstances, ever sell those I kept; especially my HKP7.
