My son brought me a gift from camp.

My son went to camp today and collected a good amount of stag horn sumac for aide. His camp guides were surprised that he knew you could eat it.
Now we are making some for him to share tomorrow with everyone.
Im a proud papa.

It tastes like a type of lemonaide. Very high in vitamin c. You just pick the berries when they are deep red. Touch one of the "staghorns" and lick your finger, if its tart pick it. Then seperate the berries and soak them in water. Filter it thru a coffe filter or cheese cloth. https://youtu.be/arhWcAFsiXo
