Ok...
As some of you may have seen in the "Ammo Day" post. I went into Four Seasons on Saturday with the intent of buying a bunch of ammo. Well, I did end up buying a bunch of ammo, but not as much as I originally wanted to. I didn't buy as much as I wanted to, because I saw a police trade-in gun that you don't see for sale here in MA. I put a Kahr K40 on lay-away. I only put it on lay-away because I have a special bank account that I keep and put a little bit of money out of each check into that account. I like to call that my slush fund.
I usually reserve my slush fund for fun things. The money is calculated before bills, and after savings and investments and such. So as far as I am concerned the money is "Fun Money". I almost exclusively use the money for guns, and trees (you may remember from other posts that I am heavily into the art of bonsai) and there is usually enough of a balance in the account to buy whatever I would want on a whim without interfering in the budget.
So, when I saw the gun (one that I have admired for a while but not able to purchase in the Commiewealth of Massachusetts) I played with it, fondled it, and fell in love. So, I had to have it. Now to keep me out of trouble with my slush fund, I actually have to go into the bank to make withdrawals so I didn't have any of the "Fun Money" on me at the time. I made a deposit on the gun out of my regular account to hold it, knowing damn well that I wouldn't see on in MA for a long time. When I did that, I said to myself that I would come back in sometime after Thanksgiving to pick it up.
I have been looking at pictures of it online for the past couple of days, and am now VERY excited to have it. So, now I ask you my friends, can you think of any reason that I should put it off until after Thanksgiving, or should I just go in after work on Wednesday and pick this beauty up?
WOW!
Now that I read that, I have ramble on and on just to demonstrate that I am of course none other than a bonifide
GUN NUT
