Naaa Back didn't hurt much. Corners of my shoulder blades hurt a little, and the back of my neck felt like the day after a sunburn that a shirt was rubbing against. Under side of my arm wasn't too bad, but the back of my arm was a little tender.

Yea, that part up near your armpit that sits against your ribcage. That's what I'm worried about. But if I ever quit buying guns and just used that money for the last three that I want, I'd be fine. But guns are just easier to hide than a new tatoo from the wife.

I mean, she's got them as well. But when I'm hiding funds, guns are easier to make her think that I've already had them than tattoos. :D

only time it came close to hurting was when he was tattooing up near the inside elbow area.just a wee'bit sensitive.of course now it kinda feels like a sun burn.this is only my second so i'm still not used to it.

also trying to get it to heal quicker.so i can sleep.

I have used Bag Balm on all my tattoos.. No scabs, heals MUCH quicker than neosporin or regular antibiotic cream.

I always used Lubriderm Seriously Sensitive on mine. Never had a problem and kept it soft and didn't irratate. And that's even on my ankles with sock on.

You wear socks now???

WOW how far we have come! :D :p

Go ahead and laugh...Most others did, too, but I don't really care.

Barely shameful ... I knew a guy in college that had a tattoo of 2 Smurfs "Doin' It" on his leg. I can only imagine where that's gotten him in life.

did you do the normal wash with anti-bac soap and then the Bag Balm? it seams like it only gets sore after i wash.

Just washed it gently in the shower and kept it moist with Bag Balm. It will be sore, there's no way around that. You just had a bundle of needles jabbed into your skin thousands of times...

If it feels really sore, you could try some of the Neosporin +pain stuff. I had to use that on my left collar bone after I took my first shower. After that I just used the Bag Balm.

Also, on a side note. You are now excluded from donating blood for 1 year.

Well... They say the body is a temple. I can't say I have ever seen a temple that isn't decorated with ornate objects.
Personally, each of my tattoos have religious or spiritual meanings, including the crucifix in the middle of my chest. It keeps me safe, reminds me of who I am, why I'm here, and guides me on my way.

But that's just me.

God only knows what he was drinking that day. I know a few people that have the Tazmanian Devil. I guess the 007 isn't so bad...It's my one little obsession. [lol]

I'm with you, each have a meaning. While I don't understand the ones of skulls and death, or naked women, it doesn't mean that someone else does. And more power to them. That's the whole point. Is that we all have different tastes and this lets us show ours off.

And there are some tattoos that women get that are freaking HOT. My wife's is really nice, and it also compliments her personality.

Hey, this reminds me of a funny story involving my 2 favorite men getting drunk then driving around the desert looking for a parlor so that they could get matching Social Distortion tattoos...

Mike, Patrick... sound familiar? [lol] [lol] [lol] [twisted]

I always thought of getting one, but I never found one that I liked enough to be stuck with the rest of my life. [lol]

Very smart indeed. I have friends that the day they turned 18 (some before) ran out and got one of those cheesy tattoos that you see on people, you know Taz, or Yosemite Sam. Most had to go out and get them covered up with big elaborate pieces so they wouldn't have to look at them any more...

I had a friend who on his 18th birthday got some sort of evil woman angel with huge boobs tattooed over his entire back...I asked his reasoning, and he said "I don't know, but it looks cool though, right?." F#*king moron...Like you guys have already said, it should have some sort of meaning behind it...Whether it means something to others or not, it doesn't matter. As long as it means something to you, that's all that matters.

I agree. I drew up everyone of mine. So it's not going to be found on any wall.

Like I said, some people love those, some think that they do and then hate it later. Like you said, some have them covered up. So they sell the cheesey ones to make a ton of money later when they want a cover up.

I would always draw what I wanted, then I'd carry it in my wallet for some time, 6-8 months. I would look at it all the time. If after that time, I still really liked it, then I would drive down to see Greg and go at it. But now that I'm here, I don't have anyone that does good work cheap. I brought this guy so many people that he would cut me a damn good deal on mine.

Same here, all mine are custom works, that I designed. One of them (the crucifix on my chest) is actually a full necklace all the way around my neck. I found a necklace of a crucifix I liked, bought it, and brought it to the first guy to get a MA tattoo license, who came highly recommended, and did my mothers first tattoo (a 50th b-day present from me and my sister). He put it on paper, then on me. Pretty funny, when I wear the actual necklace, it freaks people out to see the tattoo just like it in my skin!

i'll give the bag balm a try.

i guess i have a problem with A&D Ointment(it was causing it to heat up and really burn) i was told to stop using it by the guy who did the tattoo.(he reccommended using Lubriderm, maybe i'll give one a try then the other.depending on how each one works)
